Hi I’m Alex Pearson the founder of Familytree. I started this business in 2008 as a freelance graphic design and illustration studio. I was a one man show trying to make my way as a creative. In 2010 I made a series of retro styled cryptozoological monster prints with 3 other artists that went semi viral on art blogs of the time (yeah that used to be a thing before social media). We sold out of our first run of 400 prints in just 3 days! I knew right then that my path had changed. Selling prints was the way forward instead of doing client work.

Now over a decade later I have my own print shop, a great team helping me, and we have shipped art prints all over the world to over 26,000 happy customers. It’s been an amazing journey and I’m excited every day to be able to make art, and help sell other artists work as well.
